Our Impact

GSF provides garden-based education to children at ten Title I elementary schools across Los Angeles. We take a holistic approach to teaching gardening, cooking, and environmental sustainability through our in-depth Seed to Table and Cafeteria to Compost programs, along with regular Community Garden Days and school-based free Farmers Markets. By partnering with historically underserved Title 1 schools, our program is designed to bridge the educational achievement gap, reduce health disparities, and lessen food insecurity through education-based school gardening.
