GSF hits the road!

By Elizabeth Hall

We LOVE sharing our story and mission with folks far and wide!  Last Sunday GSF stopped by the LA Galaxy Game in Carson to host a fun activity booth with a worm finding station. We had the best time  playing in the dirt and making wishes for Earth Week! It’s always such a blast to chat with Galaxy fans about the importance of school gardens. We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with the LA Galaxy Foundation and #ProtectthePitch to promote composting and sustainability in their stadium and across the city.

Few things are more INSPIRING than chatting with young people about their passion for the environment! This Wednesday GSF had the pleasure of meeting and connecting with motivated students at the annual USC Health and Environmental Fair. It’s so exciting to hear all about their experiences with food and ideas for change! We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with USC students and service-oriented groups like APO. If you, or someone you know, is interested in interning with GSF for college credit, please reach out to our Elizabeth, our Volunteer Coordinator, at elizabeth@gardenschoolfoundation.org for more information.
